Database security

We have multiple databases being used within our business and I would like to use Bubble to access several of these to create some in-house business tools and dashboards.

Our sector is security conscious and as such have strong firewalls and limited external access to our systems. The problem is that out IT support company are advising against using Bubble to access our databases as they say they cannot restrict access to a specific external IP address as Bubble do not list any.

I thought that maybe using Deskifier would help as it would allow the APPs to run locally on devices inside our network, but it appears this is just a visual wrapper and I suspect they would still operate in the cloud and therefore outside of our network anyway, although I’m not sure about this.

Has anyone else had similar security concerns and found a satisfactory way to deal with them?

Many thanks

Simon
