Still, notice how big you have to make the date picker field so the calendar appears legible. Wouldn’t be great to just have the calendar icon next to the manual date input?
We saw your idea already, thanks for it. We put that on our list. Unfortunately, that requires adding a new element, we can’t just use existing elements here.
Since we already have two elements that enable users to enter a date, it’s probably not going to be for the very near future, given our roadmap and the number of requests that come from the forum. If that’s critical for your app, however, don’t hesitate to get in touch, we can talk about you sponsoring such an element.
