Deleting an Object in FabricJS

Hi I am using the FabricJS plugin.

I am able to add an object to my canvas, but I can’t delete it. I’d like to be able to press “delete” or “Backspace” in order to delete the item, but that doesn’t seem to be working.

Anyone know how to make this happen?
