Feeling pretty stupid, still learning Bubble, can’t seem to delete my old draft projects, don’t see the 3 dots to allow deletion, I am the admin and deleted DB content, is because of account status ?!?
No worries, this is a common confusion. Here is how to delete a project in Bubble:
- Go to your Bubble dashboard where you see all your apps
- Hover over the app you want to delete
- You should see a small settings/gear icon or three dots in the top right corner of the app card
- Click on it and you will see the option to delete
If you still can not see the delete option, there are a few reasons:
- If the app is currently on a paid plan, you need to cancel the subscription first before you can delete it
- If you are a collaborator and not the owner, you can not delete the app (only the owner can)
- Some template apps from the marketplace might have restrictions
Alternative method:
- Open the app you want to delete
- Go to Settings tab in the left menu
- Scroll down to find the “Delete this app” section at the bottom
- Follow the confirmation steps
Since you mentioned you are the admin, make sure you are logged into the account that originally created these apps. If you got these from templates, you should be able to delete them from Settings inside the app editor.
