Do pageviews in App Metrics include bots?

I see significantly more pageviews in the App Metrics section of the Bubble editor than I do in my Plausible web analytics.

I also get about once a day a warning that my app was over maximum capacity… which is not likely from the Plausible analytics.

Do the Bubble App Metrics pageviews perhaps include bots, like search engine crawlers, that would be excluded by Plausible?

Yep! I’m pretty sure they do include bots and crawlers. Basically every thing that’s caused the page to be loaded

It does however, depending on what you’re trying to do you may want to use a custom robots.txt file if you don’t want them to crawl certain pages, allow/disallow certain bots & crawlers, etc
