It is likely to be very inefficient to do it dynamically, however I think you could do it by splitting out all the “n-grams” in a particular word.
So banana into ban ana nan ana etc

No, I haven’t done it but I think it should be possible.
An alternative might be to use cloud hosted ElasticSearch to do it for you.
Somewhat tricky whatever you do.
