while testing my app, development version seems slow for things like uploading a picture.
even though i have very fast internet, uploading a photo is not instant and there is a screen load that takes some time after choosing a photo in the pic uploader.
is the live version faster than development version?
Don’t think the Live version will be any faster.
A picture uploader can take a while depending on the file size being uploaded to it, many websites make up for this by adding in a good UI that shows it is Loading - by showing a spinning icon, etc.

I can’t test it right now, but you can try to use the Uploader’s “is loading” to set up some conditional UX elements (i.e. spinning icon like @gf_wolfer mentioned).
Photos are uploaded to Amazon I believe, so I don’t think Bubble can do too much about the speed, at least for the upload itself. Amazon is known to be quick (“everyone” uses it) though, so file size, connection and hardware on the client side probably has a bigger impact.
