Domain prefix / subdomain / redirection keep path

Mindboggling how difficult I’m finding this.

How does one have a bubble page as pricing.domain.com, a news page as news.domain.com etc? Upgrading to the Growth Plan to have subapps when it’s one page and paying 400% more, with its own database isn’t feasible.

Why has Bubble made this so difficult? I also don’t want to use the Saas plugin people link in here, 40,000 requests for £50 a month is ridiculous. I’d be paying nearly double for a redirection service than my entire website.

Surely it’s more simple than this? I’m using names.co.uk for my domain.

All I want is somebody to type pricing.domain.com into their search bar and it forwards to domain.com/pricing but shows in the URL as pricing.domain.com.

Hi @ash8!
And if you try to do what I’m going to tell you below:

Simplest Solution: DNS and Redirects

The simplest and most cost-effective solution for your case is to configure your domain’s DNS records.

  1. Access your domain registrar’s control panel: In your case, names.co.uk.
  2. Find the DNS section: There, you can add new records.
  3. Create a CNAME record:

With this record, when someone types pricing.domain.com, the DNS will automatically redirect to the domain.com/pricing page.

But you need to check how to configure this with your provider, but the idea is what I gave you.

Hi @krenkel, thank you for your potential solution but Bubble doesn’t allow CNAME subdomains. They’ve put things in place to stop it. This was the first thing I tried.

I also don’t believe you can add a /[text] as a value it goes red. You can only add domain.com.

Thank you though.
