Download file option for mobile applications

Hi super community
I am trying to build functionality for downloading file (png, pdf, docs, jpeg) through mobile app. I have tried plugin file downloader by air dev. It works fine on web application but not working on mobile application.
Is there any workaround?

@razaadeel8 as it is native function. So we added download related code in our wrapper and trigger using javascript.
