Edit a Data type field using a Repeating Group through Popin?

Hello,

Here is my problem :
I want to edit a Team’s slots (fields) using a Repeating Group of Player.

1. Click on a slot (which not a form element) → Opens a Popin and display list of Player in a Repeating Group.
2. Click a Player in the Repeating Group of Player → Should replace the previously clicked slot’s Player in DB and update the view.

Can someone helps me to achieve this? I tried a lot of things and nothing’s working

would it be possible for me to have access to an editor in order to resolve the issue more quickly and effectively?
