Embedded video not appearing on iPhone

Embedded videos are viewable on desktop and not on mobile on my app. Has anyone encountered this issue or know how to fix it?

On mobile and many browsers, html videos do not auto play and also start as muted. Does it seem like the video is there but its just showing a black screen at the beginning? I’m not familiar with embed tag. Maybe change it to a video tag?

Looks like a solution was found here. Maybe try that.
