Empty data in debugger

I am developing an inventory management application in the workflow for recording outgoing data I have set a condition only when the quantity in stock must not be empty and the value of the output field must be less than the stock but the debugger shows me that the quantity in stock is empty and I do not understand the same for updating the stock

It looks you are using popup while updatingbor creating outgoing stock record. Recheck that u “display data in group” while opening the popup or section. Before using this parent groups content you need to set or display data in this group.

Is it up to the user to define the data in the pop up or is it possible to display the data beforehand?

No it will be forehand,
While opening a popup when clicked on the button/element > add the next action in that same workflow “display data in group/pop up” and passed the required data that you will be using during create action fields.
