# Error requesting upload thing

When I created a new entry I get this error

Any ideas on how to solve will be greatly appreciated

Hey, I run into this a lot and agree you should file a bug report, but I DO think I know what you can do to prevent it from happening. Change your data table view to the the data type that you’re wanting to create a new entry for before you click the “new entry” button. For whatever reason, I’ve found that if your current data table view is not on the entry you’re about to add to, it gives that error sometimes.

Hope that helps and maybe that observation will help @emmanuel
