Estimate engine for Landscaping Company HELP

Hello All,

Really enjoying learning bubble, but am over my head at this point. I have been able to configure material selection and removal through the use of a custom state to populate a rg. Each material imports into the rg with a qty input and a unit cost. The qty is multiplied by the unit cost to get the material total.

The problem arises when I remove or add a material to the rg AFTER the qty inputs. The input don’t stick with their respective materials and either get mixed up or removed completely.

There are three sections to the estimate engine.

  1. MATERIALS
  2. PLANTS
  3. LABOR

I need help with sections MATERIAL and PLANTS. LABOR I have working.

Would love to show someone what I have created and explain my problems in further detail.

This probably isn’t a large task for someone experienced, but I see myself needing help several times throughout this build. I have been working bubble for a couple of weeks now…so I’m a noob.

Willing to pay and again…I’m certain there will be more work in the near future if we can work together

Thanks, Bill C.

Would love to take a look and see if I can help you out, im currently building a proposal app for a company that seems like the setup could be similar.

@twilson9034…that sounds great! How would you like to move forward?

Hey @bill.chambers

Not sure if you are looking for someone to build it for you, or if you would like some tutoring. If you want tutoring, that’s my specialty.

I help clients during their build by having screen sharing calls to show how to build in Bubble.

This is how it would work:

First you find a time slot in the calendar, book the appointment, and then you will receive a link/calendar invite for the appointment.

During the session I would use an annotation tool, just an arrow on the screen, to point you in the right direction as I explain how to do what you need.

This way, you learn how to do what is needed instead of having someone just do the work for you.

If that sounds interesting to you, check out our site.

Hope that helps!
