Hopefully some good news for EU companies building on Bubble: EU and US reach a deal to let data flow across the Atlantic – POLITICO

If I’m reading this right, it sounds like this could significantly reduce the angst around relying on contractual clauses/terms of service/data processing agreements for users and companies based in the EU that build on Bubble (since Bubble’s data is all stored in the US).

Am I understanding this correctly? Curious what folks here think.

Interesting indeed. Sounds like it’ll be at least another few years until we see if this new deal passes legal challenges, but in the meantime either nothing has changed, or you can rely on this new deal but may have to walk that back in the future.
