Expand repeating group background beyond its cells?

Hi guys,

Can I expand the background of a repeating group beyond the edges of its cells? In the attached screengrab I mimicked what this should look like by placing a shape behind the repeating group. (The problem with using a shape is that the repeating group is an infinite scroll, and a shape has a finite length.)

Any ideas for creative solutions much appreciated!!

Put the RG in a group that doesn’t collapse.

I’m not quite sure what that means… How would I go about that?

Right click on your RG, then select this:

Within your newly created group you will see this option:

Leave it unchecked and it will retain its height.
