Exploring Automatic Subtitling with Azure: Seeking Advice on Integrating Speech-to-Text Functionality

Hello,

I’m looking to integrate the Azure solution. With the speech-to-text and translation function, the goal is to create an automatic subtitling function for live video. Has anyone tried it yet?

I would like to use the Asure API with Bubble. I’ve tested a plugin that allows doing this, it works well, but I can’t use the API options like latency control or adding vocabulary.

I’m wondering how I can send the audio stream from my microphone to the Azure server. Do you have any advice?

Thanks,
Clem

That’s because, sadly, those options do not exist on Azure Speech Translation APIs.
Vocabulary is possible with a custom model that is trained on Azure side, no problem to use the plugin with that custom model.

If you’re looking into integrating speech-to-text functionality with Azure, I think it’s a great choice. Azure’s speech service is really powerful, and it can save a lot of time with automatic subtitling. A good tip is to check out subtitling companies that specialize in this—some of them can offer tools that work seamlessly with Azure. You can explore options like Rev.com or 3Play Media; they both integrate well with cloud services and can help fine-tune accuracy if needed.
