Expressing "is contained in one of the things"

How do you express: only if current user is contained in field “x” of type “x” in ANY of the records.

In other words, if current user is contained as a value even in only one of the records, the result is true, if it’s not listed in one of the records, its false

(field “x” is a User type and a list)

This should be a relatively simple check:

Not sure of your use case, so I’ll just illustrate with something I implemented with my app - Checking to see if a user has been ignored by a set of users:

Let’s say you’re checking to see if a user has been ignored by any other user. When a user is ignored by another user, the ignored user is stored in an “ignore list” field that contains all the users that have been ignored by that particular person. So lets say we’re checking to see if the current user has been ignored by anyone.

If: search for users’s : ignore list : contains : current user

This will return the “ignore list” field of all users in the search, then check to see if the current user is in any of those lists. If it is, it will return true.
