Normally, when you hover expression, this highlight the expression or part of expression if using parenthesis. But actually, everything is white when hover instead. Anyone else with this issue?

Yep, I started experiencing this a few days ago. Yesterday there were no parenthesis even when selected. It was frustrating.
I am working right now and the hover still shows none but at least the parenthesis comes up when selected even when there’s only one group.

Yes, seen something similar where if I deleted the last part of an expression, the remainder goes blue with white outline…seems the expression composer is a bit buggy

I don’t think this is related, but I noticed that the option for parentheses, which remained as beta for years in the version tab, has now finally been moved to the general settings tab.

I just came in here to report this. This is URGENT. Privacy rules are highlighted as a single expression now. And/Or isn’t evaluating correctly. This has serious security implications. @fede.bubble

Five bug reports from all five of you would go a long way to get this in the team’s triage radar.

If this helps the team, you can temporarily “fix” the issue by forcing an evaluation error (making the whole thing turn red.) Once it’s in that state, parentheses evaluate correctly on mouseover. This should help speed things up.
Update: team has identified a regression and is working on fixing this
