As itโs a bit involved to remove, i updated the plugin and created a new input field and associated with a new google autocomplete element (id testgmbaddress). No change in functionality. Is this a sufficient test or do i still need to remove the original elements?
Iโve resolved the issue. The google autocomplete element was originally placed outside of the grouping containing the input field - at the page level. When I moved it into the same group, it worked fine.
I have an input field associated with a google autocomplete element. The input element can have an initial value based on a field in the database. The input field is populated on page load. I have an option on my page to go to an external website (Stripe) and provide a return URL as part of the call. On return, all fields on the page are are as they were except the input field associated with the autocomplete element - which is empty. The data is in the database. If i add another text field and display that data on return it shows. Somehow the google autocomplete element is clearing out the input field on return. Is there a way to remedy this?
We just tested the scenario, provided by you, using the dynamic initial content for the input, related to the Google Places Autocomplete element, and need to note that even on return the input was filled with.
