We now have the ability to 301 redirect the app domain to the set domain in the app but we don’t have the ability to set a preferred domain on the website itself (only inside Google, which only sets Google’s index and not all others)
It would be good to add 1 more setting surrounding this, and allow the system to 301 either the main app url or the www./non www version to whatever setting we choose so that it’s congruent with Google’s setting, and so that all other search engines display it correctly.
This cononicalization is an important feature in SEO. (Set Preferred Domain & Double the Power of Backlinks)
