Hi everyone,
I just wrapped up my portfolio and would really appreciate it if you all could check it out and share some feedback, whether that’s criticism, suggestions, or tips to help me improve.
I’m currently looking for a junior developer role to help me gain more experience and grow my skills. I recently took the official Bubble certification exam and scored 71%, which was just shy of the 80% cutoff. I feel that shows I have a solid foundation, and I’m preparing to retake it soon.
I’ve applied to some agencies but haven’t had any luck yet, so I’m wondering if it’s my portfolio, my approach, or something else I’m missing.
Here’s the link to my portfolio:

Any feedback, advice, or even leads on opportunities would mean a lot! Thanks in advance.
If the two apps you built to strengthen skills and create a portfolio are only used for that purpose, remove the need to sign up and create a demo user sign up so people can play around with it

Oh thank you very much for the suggestion, I’ll add a “Demo User” button for this
Feedback on landing page not the products
Very bad design, limit the text width, to idk 680 ? put some margins, too much animation, action buttons are not visible. I dont want to be moved, don’t move me from places, I like the feeling of control dont take that away from me in this context only auto sliders are okay, or if we generalize it, if you make auto movements components smaller thats okay
Put some hierarchy in there. Think of like this, every user has limited attention points, use it wisely, for example that header shrinking animation takes away attention
Overall my score is 2/10
My deductions on you, you have gone great lengths for those animations and you are very experimental. Those are some precious skills. With very little effort and good research you will easily get this 10/10

A demo user functionality has been added, you can now interact with every function on the app without having to signup, for the S&B stores website, you can also place an order and checkout (payment api hasn’t been integrated yet so it just takes you to the next step) using the “continue without signing up” button, a secret order code will be sent to the email you input so you can use it to track the status of your order on the “orders” page. Again, thank you very much for your feedback, it means a lot
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback
. You’re right, I probably need to start by learning the basic principles of app design
. I’ll definitely put in some work on my frontend design skills, but I’ll get there for sure. Also, thank you for the compliment. I really appreciate you rooting for me.
