FileUploader's is empty condition doesn't work

Hi, can someone help me with this step in my workflow?

It’s on the “cancel” button in a popup, where a user should utilize this fileuploader to upload an import file. I want to delete this file if it’s already uploaded, but the user abandons the process throught the cancel button. However, if I click on the cancel button and the fileuploader is empty, it doesn’t close the popup and the fileuploader turns red (as if it was missing an input file)…

When the fileuploader has a file in it and it has not being saved to the dB … you cannot delete something that does not exist.

Well, that’s why there is a condition - only when the fileuploader’s value is not empty. So if it is empty it should disregard this step, but that’s not what’s happening…
