# Filtering Based on Intersecting Lists

I’m have a list of Organizations that each have a list of Resource Types that they serve (called Resources Provided). I also have a separate set of filters for the field Resource Types. I’m using a custom state that keeps track which Resource Types I’ve selected, and I only want to include the Organizations whose Resource Type lists intersect with the list of Resource Types in my custom state for my page. However, when I try to do so, I don’t see the option for “intersect with”. Am I going about this wrong?

Hi there, @emily1… you would need to use an advanced filter, and I think this thread might be able to help you get down a good path…
