Hey y’all

I’ve been spending a bit of time recently diving into plugin development and have started a flow-chart plugin based on ReactFlow - quick teaser below

flowchart

I’d love to hear from you about what features would make this plugin valuable for your workflows.

  • :sparkles: What kind of features would you expect from a flowchart maker?
  • :sparkles: What types of flowcharts do you typically create in your applications?
  • :sparkles: How would you/ your users want to interact with a flowchart?

Here’s a link to a demo app to have a play with v.0

Let me know your thoughts below! :rocket:

Really nice! I don’t have a particular need, but this caught my eye since I’ve answered a few forum posts seeking tools like this; I’ve pointed people to QuickChart’s GraphViz.

In these types of editors, I always find alignment tools very helpful–e.g., snap to grid, align one shape to another, distribute shapes with even spacing.

Thanks @davidb nice suggestion! These are usually accompanied by selection before alignment so could be fun to build out.

Hi all, a feature update for anyone following this.

You can find the v0.2 demo here

An update on the features:
:sparkles: Manage description and Image along with the title
:sparkles: Manage settings and styles for the chart
:sparkles: Add pre-configured/saved nodes
:sparkles: Add pre-configured/saved flows
:sparkles: Drop an image node to the canvas

@davidb - tagging you here in case you’re interested. Let me know if you’d like early access once I have a stable release.

This is awesome, I actually had a client talk about building a node view for viewing a network just the other day which could be a cool use case for this plugin.

Nice work
