Format number in a table

Hi there!

I am attempting to make a table (using the Table / Grid plugin) display long numbers with currency formatting without converting to text.

Here’s how I’ve got it loading into the table:

I would love for the data to look like the “NAV” column but actually be read as numbers rather than text.

I’m running into the same issue with my dates as well. If I format my dates from their current form to DD/MM/YYYY then they’re stored as text and sorting returns an alphabetical list rather than sorting by sequential dates.

Any suggestions?
