It was great to meet some of you in Paris and London last week. The AMAs in particular were quite good, with a lot of great questions. So I’ve decided to start hosting AMAs online, to allow people to ask direct questions. The idea is to have this as informal as possible, it’s basically going to be me in front of a webcam in on a Youtube Live, with people asking questions in the live chat.

1 - API Connector is ancient - constantly glitches due to refreshing after every change - extremely laggy and buggy - is there any work being done to upgrade it?
2 - How much focus is there still on bubble native? We’ve been waiting a long long time for some seemingly necessary features (in-app purchases, deep links, native plugin support (react))
3 - Is there a new bubble editor being released? I have seen this being mentioned but without much confidence by the team. Branches and and an upgrade to the overall workflow editor page has been on the chopping block for a while now.
Need better native groupfocus, slider, dropdown, date/time picker and a file/image uploader and consistent animations when you are going to add them to the roadmap?

When you will be removing some power from plugins, I want my plugins to efficiently load on page load.
I have two questions, both closely related. Would love if either of them could be answered (espescially #1).
Currently there is a 5 minute cap on workflows. Is there any chance of increasing this time to allow for modern LLM models which sometimes take several minutes to respond?
Can we have a toggle in backend workflows called “Run all actions simultaneously” that allows actions by default to process serially instead of sequentially (unless “Result of step” is invoked)?

I love getting your insight into what is coming, and would enjoy this being a regularly scheduled occurrence. It would be great for someone like @fede.bubble to post summarized /bullet point notes after the fact for things discussed (sorry for suggesting extra work Fede )

Thanks for doing this @emmanuel. One comment I’d like to make is that the distinction between a “power user” and a “regular user” isn’t what you think it is. Power users do not necessarily have different needs than regular users, they’re simply able to articulate those same needs in an explicit manner.
A “power user” is telling you what “regular users” are thinking but are unable to put into words, either because they lack the right language or the mental frameworks.
Yes it’s fair. I mean more power users and early users have different needs, but as early users become regular users, i agree with the nuance you’re laying out
