Sure, it is possible to achieve such a use case by connecting a workflow, and setting the dynamic color of the element to be retrieved from the database (https://nimb.ws/ukwy3Q).
It is needed to create a Workflow that will target the plugin’s element, then add an action (Create a new thing), this way the Hex codes will be store in the database (https://nimb.ws/g6iWbf). In order to not flood the database with codes you can add a second action (Make changes to a thing) that will make changes to the existing entered Hex code (https://nimb.ws/wmUa4Q).

Thanks for this. I upgraded to 1.4 but I unfortunately cannot see the autobind option in the plugin yet. I’ll try again in an hour or so just in case there was some issue with it being reflected in my app.
