Trying to open the image slider to play from a specific index when user click a repeatingGroup. The slider only begins from first image of the repGroup and not from the selected index. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Update: I have tried the new text-background update and it looks very nice. Is it possible to add a functionality to control the text-background size(ex. Fit to content or full width or full height, X & Y axis pixel values, and/or X & Y percentage values for responsiveness, and also a text-background roundness when it comes to text-background border

Hi Rapid Developers team, thanks for being so attentive to your users including myself. Can you include a function to the Wonderful Image Slider that allows bubble developers to scroll to and focus on a slide (with the ability to highlight the slide) based on a specific time period(ex. by the minute, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, etc…). For example if a user is in week 12 of a 24 week program, week 12 should be centered/focused, and highlighted-- pointing them to the content for week 12). All help is appreciated

I’ve tried programming bubbles native repeating group using this date/time formula [ current date-futuredate: formated as days/7+24 ] and so on. This at least gives me the week value for a set period of time(24), but only for the text elements. I have yet to find a way to scroll to content using this formula on bubble

Both of the suggestions have been added to the list of possible improvements. The developer team will check how feasible would be to add such features in future plugin updates.
Regretfully, due to the developer team high load, we can not promise a certain time limit on when any news will appear.

Regretfully, this plugin works with images only, and the premium version with video as well.
We would recommend checking the Bubble marketplace by Repeating Group slider keyword - there are some plugins that might fit your case.

Help Needed: Displaying Text and Date Below Images in “Wonderful Image Slider” Plugin

Hi Bubblers, I am developing a slideshow using the “Wonderful Image Slider” plugin and aiming to achieve a design similar to the attached image.

I have successfully displayed one full image in the center and partially visible images on the sides, as shown. However, I am struggling to display text and creation dates below the images.

Is this possible with this plugin? If anyone has any ideas or advice, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

Have you checked the plugin demo page? We added a few setups that might be interesting for you (text presence on slides).
Check the editor for guidance: wonderfulplugins | Bubble Editor

If you need to have the text separately, you can use the slide index state to conditionally display certain text.

Indeed some changes have been done within the core library. The developer team figured it out and now you can change the bullet color, also we added a field for inactive bullet color.

Besides that, in the previous update, we exposed the “Loading“ state and “Slides Loaded“ event.

So now if developers use the slider and fetch images through API, they can hide the slider before the entire content is loaded.

I like this plugin very much. but it looks very hard to adjust the text position, I play around with the plugin, and can display the text like that, above the image, is it possible to show the text below the image - not in the middle of the image?

Another question is, looks there is no setting for the width of text.

As a possible solution, you can display text in a separate text element, with conditionals that use the plugin states:

If I use this slider on a legacy design instead of the new responsive, it will show up in Chrome, but not in Safari.
This happens even if the element settings are left at default.
Is there a workaround?
