I had this problem on previous build, whatever was last in workflow was the only thing working that was just follow/unfollow.. I did eventually get that to work through some custom states, conditonals, workflow… I restarted my build because I gained a little better understanding on the other parts of bubble… for instance on first build my follow/unfollow works but I have over 30 errors showing… was my first build and I was still learning… now I am on a new build and decided to add friends as an option when current user and current cell user follow each other.. I have checked so many times on every conditional, every workflow, set custom states etc… I am missing something and I do not know what it is… Is there anyone seasoned in this portion of app building that could maybe go on a zoom call with me and look over my work? I would post photos of everything but it would be like 15 photos of conditionals, workflows, etc… I need someone hands on if available to teach. I would greatly appreciate it.

There are a few things that you could do to fix and improve the process for yourself. The video was very helpful.
First, the workflow isn’t set up right. You are correct, it will only do the last thing because any time it changes to unfollow, the next step will change it back to follow. You have to do separate workflows for it to work properly. You can’t do it in a single workflow.
Second, the way you have a list of items on the user isn’t going to scale well. You will need to create a separate thing in the database for it. I will try to show you this way.
