Geocoding - cost to copy from another data type?

I understand that if I geocode a record using Google, I pay Google for that usage.

However, if I use a workflow to copy a Geographic Address field that I have already run through Google on a record in datatype A to a record in datatype B, does that get charged in the same way?

OR - can I copy over that Geographic Address field to the new Datatype for free?

I would say best way to know is to test.

To set the test up, set up the functions to copy the address from one field to another.

Then run the function.

Then check Google account to see if they charged you for a Geocode usage.

But, I’d assume no, you won’t be charged because there should not be any reason for Bubble to run an API call to google to get the information a second time.

To close this out -

I did test a WF to copy a “geographic address” field from one datatype to another.
I ran thousands of these, and my billing with Google didn’t budge. Looks like no cost to copy an already geocoded field to another record.
