Get Id or other identifier of any hovered or last clicked element

I want to build a feature of “context dependent guide”, used for a performance review portal

So for example if the user clicks on a section (eg KPI) then the guide on the right would show the guide for that section.

I’ve got it to work so far by manually setting the content of the guide element through workflow. But of course that require to modify the software for every guide

I want to allow other admin users to be able to create/edit guides themselves (not needing bubble editor) so I think a way to do it is to dynamically pass on the Id of any clicked element to the guide display element - which can enable edit/new or view depending on situations.
