Hello, Bubblers! I’ve just released my first Bubble plugin: Glassmorphism - completely free/open source, and I’d genuinely love some feedback.
I built it after finding the existing free options a little limiting for the kind of glass UI I wanted. The main difference is that it works with any type of Bubble group with no loading delay, can sit anywhere on the page, and one Glass Engine can style multiple Groups at once using a shared Element ID.
It also gives you a lot of dynamic control over blur, frost, noise, turbulence, highlights, edge lighting, thickness, etc. - while Bubble still handles the parent group’s gradient, colour, border, radius, responsiveness, etc.
If anyone tries it, I’d be really grateful for any feedback at all - bugs, questions, confusing settings, missing features, browser quirks, anything!
You should create a Demo Page to show the plugin in action
Thank you for the tip! I have put a demo page together and would love to hear your thoughts on both the plugin itself and the demo page
Good job!
The demo was a great addition
I had so much fun putting it together; it was a great exercise in UX. Thank you for taking a look and leaving feedback - I hope the plugin might prove useful for you in upcoming projects!
Noooooow we are talking!!! Great job.
In fact, the demo page changes everything !
Amazing job.
Tested and loved that it has lots of options for modifying. Not sure if possible but would be useful if the effects are also rendered in editor so we don’t have to refresh the preview page. Overall great!
That’s an interesting suggestion! I will do some testing to see if this changes how the effect first appears on page load. Thank you for giving it a go and taking the time to leave your thoughts!
