Google finds the mobile pages instead of the desktop version

Hi guys,

I have an issue that my mobile pages are found when I do a Google-search on my laptop. Are they requirements that the mobile page has to fulfill in order for it to be reconized as a mobile page by Google?

Google uses mobile-first indexing for all new sites and existing sites are in the process of being migrated across. In future, Google will not index the desktop version of your site at all.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

But the mobile pages have a different design than the desktop version. Wouldn’t the pages be unfitting for the big screen, also what is the point of the desktop version, if you can never find them on Google?
