Google Places API key failure

I have set up the API keys for google places as per the instructions found on Bubbles tutorial and various youtubers.

I have set up the billing account correctly.
The Google maps related errors have disappeared.

When i go to create a new user and click create account the above error turns up.

The user inputs a postcode (UK) as part of the sign up. The code takes the coordinates of the first address with the users postcode and saves that to their profile.

Could this be causing me an issue?

Solved.

You need to create a specific API key for the Google Places Plugin. Rewatched a video by Coaching No Code Apps which made me realise my mistake.

The key will not work if it has referrer restriction to website.
I restricted the API to Google Places and Google Places (New).
