Google signup first visit

Hello.
I have a login/signup button with google. When a user visits the site for the first time and clicks this button, certain values are set in the database for that user. It should not be set if the user logs out of the application and logs back in.
I tried doing it like this:

but it doesn’t seem to work. Can anyone help?
