Group elements in a group messing up my parent group behaviour

For responsive reasons I created some extra groups within my Repeating group. It was functioning perfect before the grouping but now one text field does not show the “parent group current cell” anymore. I can imagine that this has to do with the fact that I have now the text field within a 1. group within 2. group 3. within 3. group.

The strange thing is that a few other fields in that 3 layer group do show a value.

How does Bubble work? Can I say “Parent group …” even though the cell is in a three layer deep group?

Hard to say without seeing your editor, but you might need to go into each of those groups and set the group’s thing to its parent’s thing. That way the inheritance makes it all the way to the deeply nested element.

That’s the answer I was looking for. So there are no restrictions in how far nested groups are? In that case it must be something else.
