Help! Backend Workflow Deletion and Copy + Elements Issues in Bubble Editor

Hey everyone,

I’m running into some frustrating issues with my Bubble editor, and I’m hoping the community can help. Here’s what’s happening:

The Problems:

Workflow Deletion:

When I try to edit/copy/delete certain elements, my editor crashes entirely.
This happens consistently, and I’ve tried different approaches to resolve it, but no luck so far.

Copying Workflows:

When I copy a backend workflow and try to paste it elsewhere, it causes unexpected issues.
The actions appear in the new workflow, but it behaves unpredictably, making it impossible to proceed.

What I’ve Already Tried:

Clearing my browser cache.
Using a private/incognito tab.
Testing on multiple browsers (Chrome, Arc, and Brave).
Switching to the new Workflow UI (but I encountered the exact same errors).

Additional Notes:

This is a critical issue as I’m working on a client project with a deadline coming up fast.
I’ve already searched through the forum and found that others have reported similar issues, but no solutions seem to have worked.
I’ve also reported this to Bubble support, but it’s taking a while, and I’m on a tight deadline.

If anyone has experienced similar issues or knows a workaround, please share! I’d be super grateful for any advice or insights.

Bubble is a heavy app on the browser and consumes a lot of RAM. Clear your browser history, close all other apps, use only on editor tab, and … consider using reusables in your app (in case you are not doing so).

As for the pasting problems with flows … I see that you are using the experimental (or … beta) flow editor. Consider reverting back to the good 'ol horizontal one.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

My system has 128GB of RAM, with only 20% used, so resources shouldn’t be an issue.
I’ve rebooted my computer, cleared the cache, and even tried different browsers (Chrome, Brave, Arc, Opera).
I also tested on another computer, same error.
Used a VPN, change to 4G/5G and same error.
Tried accessing the editor on an iPad, same error.

Regarding the UI:

The bug first appeared in the horizontal UI, so I switched to the new Workflow UI to see if it would help, but unfortunately, the same error happens in both UIs.

Additionally, the problem isn’t just with workflows—it also happens when I try to copy elements or reusables like groups, text, etc. It’s the same freezing/crashing behavior every time.

If you or anyone else has any other ideas, I’d be super grateful!
