Hello Bubblers,

I am currently facing an issue regarding some calculation. I am currently developing a project management app for a consulting company.

See below the boxes to “create a deal”. When a recruiter has a new deal, he writes in down below and it is saved in the Database. He indicates all of the information that you can see below.

Now there are two dropdowns, “sourceur” and “apporteur d’affaires”. These persons are business bringers and they will touch the following percentage from the profit of the deal, as indicated below:

From 1 placement per month: 10%
From 2 placements per month: 15%.
3 or more placements per month: 20%.
More than 3 placements per month: 25%.

Now the question is: How do I make these calculations? If there was only one fix percentage there would not be an issue but since there are several I’m a bit lost.

What should I do for the percentages to be taken into account? Would conditionnals be sufficient?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help guys,

Have a nice day

you can use conditionals as you have suggested… my opinion, since al the “placements” are predefined, you can put them in an option set and set and add an attribute of a number type which will safe the percentages for the respective “placements”
From that you can surely call in you calculations dynamically!
