@mark.townsend Hey Mark!

Are you building with Bubble’s native mobile editor? When you try testing through BubbleGo, does the app not appear, fail to open, or show an error?

Let’s talk!

hey Mark, like @nocodeventure said, BubbleGo has been deprecated in favor of the new **Dev Builds**

> [@Now in public beta: Mobile plugin editor. Plus important BubbleGo update](https://forum.bubble.io/t/now-in-public-beta-mobile-plugin-editor-plus-important-bubblego-update/400849/1):
>
> ## What is a dev build?
>
> A dev build is a version of your native mobile app that you install directly on your own device. It looks and runs like your real app, but stays connected to the Bubble editor so changes you make show up on your phone right away.
>
> A dev build allows you to test your app’s full functionality, including native features and any plugins your app depends on, because it’s compiled from your app specifically. That makes it the most accurate way to preview and test your app on a real device.
>
> _Note:_ Creating a dev build requires connecting your app to the App Store and/or Google Play Store, since it’s delivered through TestFlight or the Google Play Console. This means dev builds are only available on paid plans.
>
> You can create a dev build from Settings → Manage builds and live versions → **+ Dev build**. [Full setup instructions can be found here](https://manual.bubble.io/help-guides/previewing-your-app/previewing-a-mobile-app#creating-a-dev-build).

Mark, the reason you can’t get it onto your phones is that BubbleGo is gone, so the only device testing path now is a dev build, and that needs a paid plan plus an Apple Developer account and/or Google Play Console connected under Settings \> Manage builds and live versions. Before you spend on that, one thing worth checking: was the app built in the native mobile editor, or as regular web pages? If it’s web pages (common for a dispatch board), it will never install through a dev build, and the faster route is to make the tech-facing pages responsive and have your techs open it in the phone browser or add it to their home screen. For time and materials tracking in the field I’d also check two things early: privacy rules so each tech only sees their own jobs, and whether it has to cope with poor signal on site, because that changes how the logging workflows should be built. I do Bubble rescues professionally (50+ so far), and an app that already mostly works in the editor is usually a 1-2 week fix rather than a rebuild. Glad to take a look if that would help: [jetbuildstudio.com](http://jetbuildstudio.com)
