Hi guys, please help.

I am trying to have my cart post to a bubble backend API workflow. I have done this dozens and dozens of times with other software…

But THIS particular software is throwing an error that it is expecting an HTTP 2xx response (and apparently not getting one)

To quote:
Before contacting support, please make sure that you have confirmed that your script returns an HTTP 2xx response for a HEAD request and for a POST request and that you have debugged the script itself to ensure it works as expected.

Any idea what I can do to trouble shoot this or fix it?

I am using the Bubble “Detect Data” mode (with the initialize at the end of the URL)

Hi @ian11 - You should just need to add a “Return data from API” action to your backend API workflow. It’s been a while since I’ve done this, but I think at one point that action included a 200 response by default, so you may not need to add any parameters to it, and simply adding the “Return data from API” action is sufficient. If that doesn’t work, you could try adding a “code” key (number type) with a value of 200 (using Structured JSON) to the return data action. Hope this helps!

You don’t need to return data from API to generate a 200 response. If you provide expected data and authorization (or set no authorization) a 200 response is always returned

Thanks for your help everyone. I am going to reach out the ThriveCart and just make sure that this 200 code business is the actual problem.
