I created my own dropdown. I did this so that users can choose multiple choice inside the dropdown

However, I have a problem. When the dropdown appears, it pushes all the elements below it down permanently. Is there a way my dropdown (actually a group that hides & shows) can fall in front of the other elements instead of moving them?

If you make the dropdown a GroupFocus, then it should work.

@sridharan.s’s suggestion is best, but I wonder if enabling “Collapse this element’s height when hidden” would at least cause the content to move up to its prior position.

In my experience, collapsing an element’s height when hidden doesn’t typically collapse height when the group you’re trying to collapse overlaps other groups. This is just how Bubble’s rendering engine works.

Very good to know! Thanks!
