Hiring Lead Technical Product Manager

Hi everyone,

I am assuming there aren’t many typical PM’s on the forum, but we don’t need this person to have experience in a traditional PM role. Also, if you’re focused on development but know some great PMs, please send this their way.

ProLine is CRM platform built specifically for roofing contractors. We are the operating system for their business and the core piece of software around which the rest of their tech stack is built. We are currently growing at 4x year on year and have a company team size around 50.

Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager with solid experience in the SaaS space who excels at both UX/UI design and the full product lifecycle. This role involves translating user requests into thoughtful features and collaborating with both external clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional product outcomes.

Must Have:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on product experience, particularly in a small team SaaS environment. This could be product design, development, or management experience.

  • Proven track record of working on UX/UI design and end-to-end product development. This role will be working hand in hand with the developers to get each feature perfect.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, taking a proactive and hands-on approach to product ownership.

  • Strong communication skills to work with both external stakeholders (enterprise clients) and internal teams (support, development).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the Roofing & Exteriors or contractor space.

  • Experience developing products in a small team environment

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Idea and Feature Request Management: Manage the user ideas board, translating customer requests into well-defined features. Act as the product expert to either direct users to existing solutions or reframe requests into actionable new features.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Roadmap Ownership: Liaise with large clients and internal teams to ensure their needs are reflected in the product roadmap. Integrate feedback from support and partner teams into product planning.

  • Developer Oversight and Feature Definition: Work closely with developers by thoroughly planning features, providing UX guidance, and overseeing the development process to ensure alignment with the intended user experience.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year depending on candidate, with an options package.

  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.

Location:

  • Location: Must be based in a North or South American time zone to align with US working hours and be available for occasional travel to US cities for key in-person meetings. Work from home.
