HOLD...Beta testing anyone?

Team,
I want to thank any of you who had checked my app out and you are more than welcome to continue to check it out, but for right now putting a pause on this request since both @J805 and @senecadatabase had given me some great feedback that I was working on between the mobile and the copy. (And honestly a little apologetic since I knew the copy was crap and still confirming if I like the UI style, style and comms are not my strong point other than knowing what looks bad lol.) Right now arguing with AI to create a image slideshow/gif/video to replace that horrible header line and make it mobile friendly.

Ping me if…anything, I want to learn anything and everything about Bubble since got more app ideas I want to do after this one.
Leaving post up for now but will clean up my mess later.

Thanks

James

Hello Bubble gurus…

I am hoping some of you might like to help me test out my new app, Pitch Portal @ mypitch.host and tell me what you think. It is based on a new process I have devised to get more leads and is my very first app; built as an MVP to prove out my concept, and to level up…

Up to this point, it is 100% all me and still very much still working on the UI, text and guardrails. With process starting on a phone and ending on a phone, the desktop and what that should look like is still a question, lol…since I am still learning Bubble.

It is still very much a work in progress but have a couple of specific questions and am wondering if any other founders would like to coordinate and test each other’s apps. My past life of a washed up BA helps me test from all perspectives.

Apologies if something is broken, I have been heads down focused on this for months trying to get it out asap.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks

James

Hey @knockavideo :waving_hand:

Great first effort. I can see that a lot of work went into creating this.

Just a few suggestions for you:

  1. I just viewed this on a mobile phone and it doesn’t look good. Make sure you make it look good on a phone since that is the first place people will find you.

  2. Too much reading. Try just a short 30 second video instead and not so much text on your site. People don’t have attention spans like they used to. They need everything quick and to the point.

Hope that helps a bit.

I agree with above, way to many words. You need to get rid of like 80% of them. Excite the user first, and then let them get into more detail.

Not sure what your hero header means: safety and security… does this mean the user won’t get shot or beat up? And then the whole ‘especially when they’re not there’. Very confusing.

The hero headline is very weak.

You should give an example right off the bat.

Also, further down the page, some of your headers are aligned left, and some are centered.

If you’re going for mobile first, you could probably center everything below the hero section. It would make responsive design easier. But, also, you don’t want to center a whole chapter in a book.

Looks like you put a lot of work into this though.

Good luck with your project

Thank you. When I started designing I was thinking people would need to be able to view it on desktop, but in reality it would be a rarity since (target customer) would start by scanning QR code. Appreciate the time @J805

Idk what my header mean either, I failed one line benefit statements lol.

Creating…something different, just not sure what that will be yet. Plus taking out most of the sentences. Thanks for the time @senecadatabase
