Horizontal lists not scrolling reliably (blocking launch)

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue where horizontal lists are not scrolling reliably in my mobile app builds.

In many cases, swipe gestures are not recognized at all. Sometimes fast swipes work, sometimes slow swipes work, but it is very inconsistent. It often feels like the swipe only works if it starts near the edge of the screen, but even that is not reliable.

Important details:
• This issue started around March 9 after a recent build
• It affects multiple screens and all horizontal lists
• Once the list starts scrolling, it scrolls smoothly — the issue is mainly at gesture start
• Vertical scrolling works normally
• The same pages work fine in BubbleGo

This is currently blocking our launch as horizontal lists are used in core discovery flows.

Has anyone else experienced this recently, or found any workaround?

Hi,

I’m also experiencing this with horizontal lists, exactly like yours, with the list only scrolling when starting from the edge. I have a ticket open with bubble pending engineer investigation.

To not delay my app further, I had to redesign part of my UI to allow me to change to a shortlist.
