How can I populate fields with data types from another field?

Hello,

I have 4 fields namely; user, products, returned, description with a couple types in them. How can I create a new thing in the field called return with data already populated in the user field?

I think this would be easier to understand if you gave us your use-case. I am struggling to follow exactly what it is you need. Does a user interact / search for something, and that gets returned and placed into returned?
