I use javascript and HTML elements to draw my charts and I have been able to draw stacked charts…took me about 3 days to figure out how to do it. I found some charts on codepen ( https://codepen.io/search/pens?q=charts ) and then used the documentation from the google charts and the charts.js to figure out the rest; was a tedious and long process but I finally got it done.
Perhaps it would have been better to pay for a plugin
