How do I require someone to confirm their email address before creating an account and logging in?

I am using the Sign Up element. I have figured out how to set it so that an email is sent to confirm the email address. However, they get logged in before they have confirmed the email address. How do I set it up so that they have to confirm the email address first before they get logged in?

There’ll be a checkbox for in Workflow. When you start defining Sign Up up page’s SUBMIT button Workflow just check require email confirmation. But be ready for the UX. You should have the Confirmation Flow in place.
