How do I use "is in" in conditional? Seems only "is not in" is an option

I want to create a conditional that checks if a value is in a list of values. However, when I try to do so, the option “is in” is not available, which is odd because “is not in” IS available:

I’ve worked around it by creating the list and then using “contains” like so:

My question: Am I missing some reason “is in” is not showing up for me?

Sometimes, things only work one direction. I was going to suggest the same thing. If it doesn’t work one way, try the other direction.

Bubble just doesn’t always do what users would expect. I’ve requested is in for a long time.

Only way is as you’ve found. Reverse order of dynamic expression and use contains.
