How to add a dynamic dropdown's value to database

I am building a messaging app and want to load a user’s list of friends into a dropdown that they can select to start a conversation with that person. Data privacy rules look, it doesn’t have any detectable error, but the list of friends will not show. Thank you for any help!

Also, are you logged in with a user that have friends when you test?

Set Option caption as Friends’s Name or Some Identifier to display in the dropdown.
